What is peak performance?
Peak performance happens when you perform to the best of your ability, and in many ways, this is parallel to reaching self-actualization for some.
One aspect of peak performance can be about attaining your physical goals, and the way to get there is through strength and conditioning.
Strength and conditioning, in its simplest form, is the practical application of sports science to enhance movement quality. It’s grounded in evidence-based research and the physiology of exercise and anatomy.
We all move, and therefore we can all benefit from a better quality of movement.
Strength and conditioning aren’t hardcore and only for athletes, nor is it a particular Olympic lift, prowler push, or hill sprint drill. offset age-related declines in bone mass. Activities that put stress on bones can
nudge bone-forming cells into action. That stress comes from the tugging and

Increased muscle mass and metabolism
Strength and conditioning training helps to build muscle, which in turn will give the metabolism a boost as muscle burns more calories at rest.
A research paper published in the National Library of Medicine discovered that hypertrophy (building muscle) had increased metabolic benefits. An increase in lean muscle mass reduces the risk of insulin resistance, a group of risk factors for cardiovascular disease, and other factors which can lead to ill health, such as elevated fasting glucose and triglyceride levels, hypertension, obesity and reduced HDL cholesterol.
