Our services
We tailor our care to your personal needs.
Care Home Visits
We have extensive experience visiting Care Homes and are committed to helping the most vulnerable and important people in our community. We treat the elderly for a variety of problems, both acute and chronic. Much of our work involves helping reduce pain, improve mobility, balance, and regain confidence following a fall.
Elderly Care
Elderly rehabilitation is maintaining and improving the general health and ability of elderly individuals. We commonly work with elderly patients helping optimize their quality and enjoyment of life. We will carry out a full functional assessment and work with you and your family to set realistic short and long-term goals.
Pre & Post Surgery
Following your procedure, we will be able to visit you in your home or at our clinics.
Sometimes, we can assess you before surgery and prepare your home for your return. We have been seeing patients after surgery since we opened over 35 years ago, both in their own homes and in our clinics. Over this time, we have built a reputation for providing high-quality post-operative care in London.
Parkinson's
Physiotherapy is essential in the multidisciplinary management of people with Parkinson’s. Advice and education offered in the early stages maintain general fitness, minimise deterioration and promote self-management. In the later stages, physiotherapy can improve gait, balance, transfers, and manual activities and reduce the fall risk.
Strokes
Physiotherapy is a key part of stroke rehabilitation. Physiotherapy helps to regain function, mobility, strength, and joint range following a stroke. It also aims to improve your ability to carry out daily activities and reduce any balance deficits. To achieve this, physiotherapists use specialist techniques such as specific exercises, positioning, splinting, functional electrical stimulation, task-specific practice, and massage.
Women's Health
Many women have tolerated pelvic pain and other problems for years, thinking they are a normal part of being a woman. It’s worth working with a Chartered physiotherapist and persevering with your programme – pelvic floor muscle physiotherapy helps to cure or improve the symptoms of weak pelvic floor muscles for over 70% of women.
Vertigo
The symptoms of a vertigo attack can make it feel like life is on hold, as the simplest things, like turning your head, can leave you suddenly feeling unwell and vulnerable. Our Vestibular Rehab Physios have undergone additional post-graduate training. This training focuses on the nervous system and how the ear and brain work together to control our balance and coordination. Most importantly, it deals with what to do when something goes wrong, causing vertigo and dizziness.
Get Stronger
We recognise the value of getting stronger. Gaining strength has numerous benefits, such as helping to perform daily activities, aiding injury recovery, improving balance, and enhancing the quality of life. It can additionally help with athletic performance and is essential for elite athletes to be at the top of their game and stay injury free.
Sleep
We spend a third of our lives asleep and two-thirds of us are struggling to get a good night’s sleep. Sleep is something that we all need, and the quality of sleep we get can have a great impact on our daily lives as well as our recovery from injury, post-surgery, or illness. When we are well rested, we are usually more productive, nicer to be around, and generally better at handling the challenges of the day.
